A female passenger on a cruise from Shanghai reportedly drowned in one of the cruise ship’s swimming pools, according to The Shanghai Daily.

Sapphire Princess, a part of Princess Cruises’ fleet, left Shanghai for South Korean Chejudo Island on Wednesday, August 6. The 29-year-old woman was found dead in the swimming pool on Thursday, August 7. All the indicators point to death by drowning.

The newspaper says that Princess Cruises confirmed the death of the passenger onboard the Sapphire Princess cruise ship.

The Sapphire Princess returned to Shanghai on Sunday, August 10.
