Höegh LNG Names Its Third Large Size FSRU

Naming Ceremony for 'Hoegh Gallant' Held at Ulsan Shipyard

The naming ceremony for “Höegh Gallant”, the third of the four large size FSRUs that Höegh LNG has under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries, took place today, 8th of April 2014, at Ulsan shipyard in South Korea.

“Höegh Gallant” is on schedule for delivery end July 2014.

Sveinung J.S. Støhle, CEO and President of Höegh LNG, says: “ There is high interest in a growing FSRU market for this unit and we are currently offering the “Höegh Gallant” to several near term LNG import projects, and look forward to taking delivery of the markets most modern FSRU in Q3 2014“.
