Major Milestone for PGN FSRU Lampung Project

The PGN FSRU Lampung project reached a significant milestone on 17 May, when the installation and connection of the FSRU and the Tower Yoke Mooring System were finalized on site, 6 km offshore Lampung, Indonesia.

The project will commence commercial operation under a 20 year time charter with PGN by the middle of June 2014.

Sveinung J.S. Støhle, President and CEO of Höegh LNG, stated: “We are proud to have a leading role in this pioneer project where a Tower Yoke Mooring System, which is part of Höegh LNG’s scope, for the first time is used for an LNG import terminal.

The construction of the FSRU and the Tower Yoke Mooring System have taken place in Korea and China and were completed on time and budget. This project restates Höegh LNG’s ability to develop and deliver innovative, technological advanced and tailor-made solutions to our clients.”
