Tanker Arrested in Singapore Waters

Chemical/product tanker Golden Dynasty has been detained in Singapore waters, Supreme Court of Singapore’s data shows.

The 14,500 dwt ship, owned by China’s Shanghai Dingheng Shipping, was arrested in the morning hours of April 23, 2017.

The reason of the ship’s detention was not disclosed.

Focal Investigation & Security Agency has been appointed for security and investigation purposes related to the arrest of Golden Dynasty which was built at Kejin Shipyard in China in 2010.

Market value of the Singapore-flagged tanker currently stands at USD 9.97 million, according to information provided by VesselsValue.

As of April 25, Golden Dynasty’s AIS data shows it is moored in Singapore area.
