MS Finneagle Refloated after Grounding
MS Finneagle, belonging to Finnish ro-ro operator Finnlines, that ran aground in the port of Kapellskar (Sweden) this morning is afloat and has been berthed safely.
According to the operator, the grounding occurred due to the technical fault of the main engines. At the time of the accident, the ship had a total of 168 passengers and 30 crew members onboard. Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident.
Right now, divers are inspecting the hull of the vessel in order to determine scope of the damage.
