Yang Ming Sets Up Southeast Asia–Australia Service

Taiwanese shipping company Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (Yang Ming) has decided to launch a new service connecting Southeast Asia and Australia.

The new Asia Australia Alliance (AAA) service is scheduled to start on April 24, 2017, in Laem Chabang, Thailand.

The AAA service will have the following port rotation: Laem Chabang, Singapore, Port Klang, Fremantle, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Fremantle, Singapore, Laem Chabang.

According to Yang Ming, the round voyage will last 42 days.

Yang Ming said that the AAA service expands the company’s port coverage in Australia to Fremantle.

Apart from the AAA service, the company provides another two loops covering Far East/Australia routes: one from Ningbo and the other one starting from Yokohama with calls in Australia’s ports of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
