EQT Infrastructure Sells Koole Terminals

Sweden’s EQT Infrastructure Limited has made a move to sell its Dutch storage company Koole Terminals to institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets, a deal valued at over EUR 1 billion.

Since the initial acquisition by EQT Infrastructure in February 2011, Koole Terminals storage capacity has more than tripled to 2 million cubic meters.

The company has storage facilities sited at five locations in the Netherlands, two in the UK and one in Poland.

Koole ships liquids in its fleet of 12 barges and three coasters.

In August, Koole Terminals started operating a storage terminal for petrol and diesel in Pernis, Rotterdam, as well as a truck loading facility and a K1 jetty for seagoing vessels.
