UASC Beefs Up West Africa Services

United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) has launched two new West Africa services (WAF 2 and WAF3) to meet the growing demand and customer requirements in the West African market.

The new services, scheduled to become effective in September 2015, will operate in addition to UASC’s existing WAF1 service.

“In addition to reduced transit times and enhanced schedule reliability, the new services are designed to improve connections between West Mediterranean and West Africa enabling our customers globally to avail of new opportunities.

“In line with UASC’s global expansion and customer service excellence strategy, we maintain ongoing dialogue with our customers to continuously explore further enhancements to our service offerings,” Lars Christiansen, Chief Trade Officer at UASC commented.

The new rotation of WAF services will be:
West Africa Container Service 2 (WAF2): Algeciras – Tangier – Cotonou – Lome – Algeciras
West Africa Container Service 3 (WAF3): Tangier – Algeciras – Abidjan – Algeciras
