All Eyes on Crown PrincessCrown Princess cruise ship struck a perfect pose for photographing yesterday, while docked in the Port of San Diego.

She is ready to start her 8-day scheduled cruise on Valentine’s Day. During the cruise she will visit Los Angeles, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas.

The giant cruise ship is owned by Princess Cruises and is one of their largest cruise ships, with room for 3,080 guests.  She was built by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri Cantieri Navali Italiani and completed in May 2006. Her maiden voyage took place on June 14, 2006, when she departed Red Hook, Brooklyn (New York)  and headed for Grand Turk (Turks & Caicos), Ocho Rios (Jamaica), Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands), and Port Canaveral (Florida).

As of 2009, the Crown Princess sails the Caribbean for the Winter season, and Europe for the Summer season.
