VIDEO: CSCL Globe in All Its Glory

The video shows the world’s longest container ship CSCL Globe en route from Hamburg / Germany to Zeebrugge / Belgium on river Elbe after her maiden call at Eurogate Container Terminal Hamburg.

The video was captured on January 16th, 2015.

When measured by tonnage and capacity CSCL Globe is the second largest container ship after the MSC Oscar.
The vessel, which weighs as much as 14,500 London buses, is operated by China Shipping Container Lines Co.

At 400 meters long, the vessel is the length of four football fields.
