NACKS Christens COSCON’s Latest Boxship
Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering (NACKS), a few days ago, held a christening ceremony for COSCON’s state-of-the-art 13386-TEU container ship, the COSCO ITALY.
Ms. Yu Tao, Assistant Managing Director of COSCON, christened the new ship on April 18. Mr. Han Chengmin, President of NACKS, Mr. Deng Huangjun, Chief Financial Officer of COSCON and other guests from COSCON, COSCOSHIP and American Bureau of Shipping attended the ceremony.
COSCO ITALY is the sixth of a series of eight 13,386 TEU vessels being built for COSCON by the Nantong shipyard. The vessel will be deployed on the COSCON CKYH Joint North Europe Express Service 3 (NE3).
The port rotation of CKYH Joint North Europe Express Service 3 (NE3) is:
Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Singapore, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Xingang.
