Xinle Shipbuilding Nets 2+2 Eco-Tankers

Arcoin Group and Ningbo Xinle Shipbuilding, on Nov 22nd, entered into a newbuild contract under which the Chinese yard will build 2+2 eco-tankers for the Dutch owner.

The tankers will adopt eco-friendly design and will be able to load 20 different chemicals at one time, reports Sinoship.

The 19,800dwt vessels, designed by an Italian company, will be around 161 meters long, 23 meters wide, with the depth of 12.4 meters.

Delivery of the vessels is scheduled for the end of 2015.
