An Indonesian state fisheries department has detained several fishermen and fishing vessels for operating in Indonesia’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) in the South China Sea. The Pontianak Fishery and Ocean Resources Monitoring Agency detained 77 fishermen and eight vessels in June.
