Wison Completes Installation of LNG Storage Tanks in the World’s First FLNG

Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd. (“Wison Offshore & Marine”) announced today that it successfully completed the installation of the three LNG storage tanks into the hull of the Caribbean FLNG project, reaching a significant milestone in the delivery of the world’s first floating LNG production unit . The Caribbean FLNG project, being supplied to EXMAR by Wison Offshore & Marine under an EPCIC contract, will be installed off the coast of Colombia. Supplied by TGE,the combined capacity of the three LNG storage tanks is 16,100 cubic meters, with a net weight of around 395 tons each. The complete tanks were hoisted by two 400-ton goliath gantry cranes in WOM’s dry dock.
