Bodewes Shipyards has successfully launched the new building 762 on the 1st of November at 11:00 hours. NB 762 is the third vessel in the Bodewes Eco Trader 8700 DWAT series.
The bow of the vessel has been designed based on the remarkable Groot Cross-Bow. This innovating bow shape with wave piercing abilities features less slamming and enables the vessel to maintain her speed easily. The vessel has a length of 127.3 meter, a breadth of 15.80m and a deadweight of 8700 tonnes. With a main engine of 2.999 kW she can sail 13.5 knots in trial conditions. This design has the lowest fuel consumption in her market segment.
The two holds with respective lengths of 25.5m and 65.25m are suitable for all kinds of bulk cargoes, grain, timber, paper, containers and dangerous goods. Both cargo holds can be equipped with a complete tweendeck. The accommodation of Nb762 is a new design of Bodewes Shipyards. The design has resulted in more deck space in front of the accommodation, which can be used for container cargo or the storage of tweendeck panels.
With this design Bodewes Shipyards once again presents a vessel which is unrivalled in the market due to her efficiency, economy and environmental qualities.
