CHEC Inks Terminal Contract with Sudan Sea Port Corporation

On August 15, China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (CHEC) and Sudan Sea Port Corporation (SPC) signed the contract for Phase 1 of the livestock terminal of Sudan Port, with a value of EUR 70 million.

The EPC project involves the construction of a 20,000t terminal berth with a total length of 241 meters, including water works, dredging works, some civil works and other ancillary facilities.

After completion, the project will become the first modern livestock export terminal of Sudan Port, and will be of great significance to changing the actualities of import and export of Sudan’s livestock and promoting Sudan’s economic development.
