Mumbai-based shipping company Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (G E Shipping) has agreed to sell one of its Kamsarmax dry bulk carriers, Jag Arya.

Although G E Shipping has not identified the buyer of the bulker, VesselsValue’s data shows that Trade Fortune from Greece purchased Jag Arya for USD 18.8 million.

The 80,480 dwt ship will be delivered to its new owner in Q3 FY 2018-19, according to G E Shipping.

Built in South Korea in 2011, the 97,000 cbm Jag Arya has a length of 229 meters and a beam of 32.2 meters.

Including Jag Arya, G E Shipping’s current fleet stands at 49 vessels, comprising 35 tankers and 14 dry bulk carriers with an average age of 10.91 years aggregating 3.98 million dwt.
