Diana Shipping Finds Work for Panamax Bulker

Greek dry bulk shipowner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with Hong Kong-based Ausca Shipping Limited for one of its Panamax vessels.

Under the deal, the company’s 76,942 dwt Artemis will start working for Ausca Shipping on September 18 for a period of twelve to fifteen months.

The parties agreed a gross charter rate of USD 12,600 per day for the time carter period.

The 2006-built Panamax is currently chartered at a rate of USD 9,000 per day.

This employment is expected to generate USD 4.54 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.
