USCG Medevacs Crewman from Tanker Eagle Texas

A 45-year-old man was medevaced from the 102,926 dwt tanker Eagle Texas south of Sabine, Texas, on June 12.

According to the US Coast Guard, the captain of the vessel sent a medevac request as the crewman was reportedly suffering from symptoms of a cardiac arrest.

At the time, the tanker was some 27 miles south of Sabine.

An Air Station Houston MH-65 Dolphin helicopter aircrew arrived on scene and transported the crewmember to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

The mariner was reported in stable condition.
