Diana’s Bulker to Continue Working for Koch Shipping

Greek dry bulk vessel owner Diana Shipping has entered into a new time charter contract with Singapore’s Koch Shipping for one of its Capesize dry bulk vessels, the m/v P. S. Palios.

As informed, the gross charter rate is now USD 17,350 per day for a period of about thirteen to maximum fifteen months.

The 2013-built ship is currently chartered to the same company at a gross charter rate of USD 10,550 per day.

The new charter for the 179,134 dwt bulker is expected to commence on May 24, 2018.

This employment is anticipated to generate approximately USD 6.51 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter, according to Diana Shipping.

Diana Shipping’s fleet currently comprises 50 dry bulk vessels with the combined carrying capacity of 5.8 million dwt and a weighted average age of 8.75 years.
