The Shipowners’ Club, in partnership with the International Seafarers’ Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN), has released a series of guides for seafarers on how to improve mental health.
The latest self-help guide Steps to Positive Mental Health provides specific coping strategies that can be easily adopted to reduce stress levels at sea. It details some skills, exercises and coping strategies to help seafarers deal with emotions when life becomes stressful.
