Singapore Puts Bunkering Tanker Up for Sale

The 2014-built bunkering tanker UE Star, which was arrested in late November 2017, has been put up for auction by the Supreme Court of Singapore.

Court data shows that the closing date for bids for the 4,000 dwt vessel is January 31, 2018 at 3.00 pm.

The net value of bunkers on board the Singapore-flagged UE Star, which is excluded from the sale, is SGD 93,766 and has to be paid by the purchaser.

The vessel, owned by Focus Maritime Services, is currently at Eastern Petroleum B Anchorage in Singapore.

Previously known as MK Uranus, UE Star has a market value of USD 9.19 million, according to data provided by VesselsValue.
