The container ship, which is 166.14 metres long and 29 meters wide, docked at Israel’s largest port yesterday, on May 13th.

MSC Perle was built in 1983 at Germany-based Nordseewerke Emden shipyard and is currently sailing under Panamanian flag. The ship is powered by 1300KW MAN B&W 5 L 80 GFCA engine and equipped with a crane capable of carrying up to 20 tons.

After 18 hours spent at the port, the ship undocked and headed to her next Israeli destination, Port of Ashdod.
