Nine More for Navig8

March has been a pretty busy month for pool operator Navig8 which has expanded its pools with nine vessels.

Navig8 Chemicals has taken delivery of Navig8 Amethyst, the third of eighteen ECO 37,000dwt chemical tankers constructed at Korea’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD).

Another newbuild, the 49,000 dwt Navig8 Violette, built by Hyundai Vinashin shipyard, joined the Chronos8 Pool.

The Pan8 Pool has expanded its fleet with a bulker duo: the 2001-built 76,529 dwt Kalliopi L built by Tsuneishi and 74,759 dwt Cerafina built by Hudong Honghua in 2005.

The recently launched dry pool in ultramaxes, Ultra8 Pool received four vessels: the 63,582 dwt TR Prince, built by Jiangsu New Hantong in 2015, 2013-built Konya, 2013-built Samsun and 63,800 dwt-TR Niklas built in 2014.

The 2004-built Hydundai Treasure joined the company’s supramax Supra8 Pool. The ship was built by IHI Marine United and features 48,821 in DWT.
