NileDutch Names Second Newbuild

NileDutch, Rotterdam-based shipping company specialising in cargo liner services from and to West Africa, held a naming ceremony for the second of four newbuild container ships, the 3,510 TEU MV NileDutch Dordrecht, at PSA Singapore Terminals.

The four newbuild container ships will be registered in the Netherlands and fly the Dutch flag.

The dimensions and deck equipment of the four new vessels are tailored to the ports they will serve in West Africa.

Each vessel has a capacity of 3510 TEU (1530 in the holds and 1980 on the hatch covers). The ships have a length of 224 metres, beam (width) of 34.8 metres and draft of 12.5 metres.

The other two vessels will be delivered later this year. The newbuilds will operate on West Africa – Far East rotation.
