Afai Recognized for Green Production Practices

Afai Southern shipyard has been recognized for its excellence in eco-friendly production in 2013 by Guangzhou City.

The Award of Excellence was jointly awarded by Guangzhou Economic and Trade Committee, Bureau of Science and Information Technology of Guangzhou Municipality and Guangzhou Environmental Protection Bureau.

For many years, Afai pursued the concept of “green manufacturing and reducing cost & increasing benefits”, established cleaner production practices and focused on improving management system. While doing this, the shipyard also promoted the production technology and management level, achieved energy saving and emissions reduction, controlled and reduced polluted waste through product design, site construction and process management.

In 2013, through the site acceptance of expert team for audit and acceptance of cleaner production of Guangzhou City, as well as review and public pass, Afai was rated with an excellent grade.

The leadership of Afai expressed willingness to support the push for greener production work continuously, deeply inculcate the management concept of green and energy saving from material purchase to product construction, promote material utilization and benefits, to achieve the joint development of enterprise’s economy, environment and social benefits.
