This vessel is a full aluminum wave-piercing catamaran, propelled by twin engines and twin waterjets, with large deck area, fine navigability, high speed and maneuverability. She has a capacity to carry a maximum of 200 rescued people, and meets the relevant requirements of the CCS rules on rescue vessels and aluminum high speed vessels.

NAN HAI JIU 202 is the sixth and the last in the second batch of coastal fast rescue vessels contracted and built by Afai. The successful delivery of the vessel lays a solid foundation for the construction of the third batch of rescue vessels.
