IHC Merwede to Implement IFS Applications

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announced that IHC Merwede has selected IFS Applications to support its key business processes. The contract licenses are worth approximately EUR 2 million.

As part of a company-wide efficiency program aimed at consolidating the company’s global processes, Dutch company IHC Merwede decided to implement IFS Applications. The IFS solution was chosen after an extensive selection process that included a number of competing ERP systems.

IFS Applications will be implemented as IHC Merwede’s single ERP system—supporting the company’s key strategic goals: collaboration, globalization, and growth. The implementation, which will be performed in phases and is expected to be complete in 2017, will be rolled out to all IHC Merwede sites globally, replacing a large number of IT systems.

By consolidating its IT environment, IHC Merwede will gain increased business agility, transparency and uniformity of information, which is a vital part of its national and international value chain.
