Seventeen Vessels Acquired in Past Two Weeks

Lion Shipbrokers said that a total of seventeen vessels changed their owners in the past two weeks.

Namely, eight bulk carriers, three container vessels and six tankers have been acquired by various shippers.

M/V “BULK CHINA” – 179,109 dwt, blt 2013 Orient/S. Korea, NV, 9 HO/9 HA, MAN-B+W 6S70MC-C
Sold to undisclosed buyers for $55 mill

M/V “ZHUSHUI 3” – 79,501 dwt, blt 2012 Jinhai/China, LR, 7 HO/7 HA, MAN-B+W 5S60MC-C and
M/V “ZHUSHUI 5” – 79,501 dwt, blt 2012 Jinhai/China, LR, 7 HO/7 HA MAN-B+W 5S60MC-C
Both sold to Greek buyers (Clients of Polembros) for $23.5 mill each

M/V “GIANT PESCADORES” – 71,671 dwt, blt 1998 Hitachi/Japan, CR ss/dd due 03/2018, 7 HO/7 HA, B+W 6S60MC
Sold to Chinese buyers for $12 mill

M/V “ANNA OLDENDORFF” – 52,466 dwt, blt 2002 Sanoyas/Japan, NK, 5 HO/5 HA, B+W 6S50MC-C, Cr 4X30T
Sold to undisclosed buyers for $18.25 mill (Basis 2 years BB to sellers)

M/V “CRYSTAL OCEAN” – 48,913 dwt, blt 1999 Ihi/Japan, KR, 5 HO/5 HA, Sulzer 6RTA48T, Cr 4X25T
Sold to undisclosed buyer for $14 mill
