Bahri Dry Bulk Takes Delivery of Its Fifth New Vessel

The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) said that its subsidiary Bahri Dry Bulk has received a dry bulk vessel named Bahri Trader from Japan.

This is the last vessel delivered from the series of five ordered in 2012.

The financial impact of the delivered vessel will materialize during the second quarter of 2014.

This type of vessels, with capacity of 82,000 dwt and length of 229 meters, consumes less fuel and is labeled as eco-friendly.

The company started its operation through chartering of five vessels to Arasco. The said five will be replaced by the newly delivered vessels.
