The cruise vessel Deutschland suffered an engine room fire last Sunday. Over 360 passengers had to be evacuated from the 175 metre long vessel, built in 1998. According to unconfirmed Norwegian newspaper reports, a number of passengers were taken to hospital by ambulance.
