The first phase of a hydrographic survey project that will develop hydrographic maps has been approved by the Executive Committee of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
Members of the Council, at the meeting held on October 31, concluded that the project will have a positive impact on tourism and the use of water transport.
As IPS reports, the committee discussed all the details of the project considered as key requirements for an effective management of waterways and navigation safety.
During the meeting other topics besides the Abu Dhabi hydrographic survey were discussed.
