US-headquartered dry bulk shipping company Navios Maritime Partners revealed it has completed the sale of MSC Cristina, a 13,100 TEU containership.

The Neopanamax was sold to an unknown party for USD 125 million, the company said.

Around USD 100 million of the sale proceeds were used to repay bank debt, Navios Partners added.

Market value of the vessel currently stands at USD 71.57 million, VesselsValue’s data shows.

MSC Cristina, which has a length of 366 meters and a width of 48.2 meters, was built by South Korean shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in 2011.

Following the completion of the sale of MSC Cristina, Navios Partners has a fleet of 31 vessels, comprising 24 bulkers and 7 boxships.
