Middle Point Reaping Fruits from Expansion to German Market

Dutch recruitment and contracting specialist Middle Point has started reaping the benefits from its expansion to German market with the opening of a new office in Hamburg last year.

“The intricate ways Middle Point adds value to recruitment, has been well received and already led to successful placements,” the company said.

According to Middle Point, Hamburg has been selected due to the fact that the northern area of Germany is flourishing in the yacht building, shipbuilding (i.e. cruise ships), offshore and energy industries and is the home of renowned companies like Blohm + Voss, Meyer Werft and Lloyd Werft.

What is more, the move comes as German companies start opening up to an international approach in hiring labor.

“With many similarities between the ‘Niedersachsen’ and Dutch culture, engineers with Dutch work experience, are increasingly finding similar or even high functions in their area of expertise within the German workforce.

“Middle Point believes that their approach in recognizing the special needs of their customers, which include committed compliant staff, prompt availability and global coverage, can be successfully applied to the German market. Local presence is the key to success,” the company adds.

Founded in 2007, Amsterdam-based Middle Point speciliazes in recruiting staff for international shipbuilding, yacht building, offshore, dredging and maritime industry.
