The St. Martin Parish Council voted Tuesday to hire Sellers and Associates, of Abbeville, as the engineers on the Bayou Du Portage, locally known as drainage project near Lake Dauterive and Lake Fausse Point. The measure passed 7-0 with councilmen Lloyd “Red” Higginbotham and James Hebert absent.
