Hyde Marine Inc. has announced the award of a contract from a leading South Korean shipyard to supply Hyde GUARDIAN® Ballast Water Treatment (BWT) Systems for multiple 157,000 DWT Suez Max Crude Oil Tankers being built for a major Greek ship owner. Ten Hyde GUARDIAN ship-sets will be delivered from May 2011 to March 2013. As Hyde Marine’s first large tanker project, the company will be supplying explosion-proof UV Reactors and the newly developed Hyde GUARDIAN SUPERFLOW high capacity, auto-back flush disk filters.
