The cutter suction dredge Phoenix has been prepared for Phase 2 of Fremantle Ports’ Inner Harbour and channel deepening, and dredging will begin today, 9 August. Fremantle Ports Chief Executive Officer, Chris Leatt-Hayter says the deepening is essential to cater for the bigger, more efficient container ships now servicing Australian capital city ports.
