Tonga’s Prime Minister has announced a USA$32 million reconstruction project at Vuna wharf in the hope of attracting cruise ships to Nuku’alofa each year. Matangi Tonga reports that Dr Feleti Sevele envisages transforming the area into a tourist centre that would include a yachting marina, shopping mall and the royal palace.
