Swedish Coast Guard Releases Vessel R&M Services Tender

On the August 8th Swedish Coast Guard, civilian authority under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defence, released vessel R&M services tender. The tender includes Repair and maintenance works to the Swedish Coastguard vessel “KBV 465”.

Scope of work on the vessel will include complete overhauling of vessel’s mechanical as well as electrical systems.

The Swedish Coast Guard supervises, rescues and provides assistance at sea, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year along the entire Swedish costline. It is a national civilian authority under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defence. The overall aims of the Coast Guard are decided by the Swedish Parliament while the government takes decisions on more detailed aspects.

Tender deadline is 19.9.2011.
